Hoya Obovata - cutting

Single leaf, single node or growth tip (2-3 leaves) cutting. Shipped in sphagnum moss.

Hoya Care Guide

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Some varieties tolerate lower light, but flowering requires plenty of light. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch leaves.

Watering: Water when the soil is mostly dry. Hoyas prefer to dry out between waterings. Use well-draining soil and a pot with drainage holes to prevent root rot.

Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity (50%+), but most adapt to normal indoor humidity. Mist occasionally or use a humidifier for better growth.

Temperature: Keep between 60-85°F (16-29°C). Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Soil: Use a well-draining mix, such as orchid bark, perlite, and peat-based potting soil. A chunky, airy mix prevents overwatering issues.

Fertilizer: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a diluted balanced liquid fertilizer. Reduce feeding in fall and winter.

Growth & Support: Hoyas are vining plants that do well in hanging baskets or climbing on a trellis. Some varieties develop thick, woody stems as they mature.
